What makes a job description attract the right applicants

  • Say where the job is and what the shifts or hours really are.
  • Say what the day involves, not a list of adjectives about the ideal candidate.
  • Separate what is required from what would be nice, and keep the required list short.
  • Give a salary range if you can. Candidates who would decline on pay then do not apply.

Which questions the first round should ask is covered in the questions a first round actually has to answer.
