AI recruitment software for Malaysia

An AI interviewer for hiring in Malaysia

Blue holds the first-round interview with every applicant, typed by default on the phone they applied from, and hands you a shortlist with the full transcript underneath it. It is the AI Interviewer module of Agentic Blue, an AI-native applicant tracking system.

Works with the places your applicants already are

  • Jobstreet application emails
  • LinkedIn
  • WhatsApp
  • Email

How it works

  1. 01 · Rank

Every job ranked against the same must-haves.

AI reads each CV and shows which must-haves it meets and which it does not, whoever on your team opens the job.

  2. 02 · Share

Shortlists a hiring manager answers by link.

Send several profiles in one link. The hiring manager marks who to interview, with no account to make.

  3. 03 · Remember

    Your talent pool first.

Open a new job and AI shows who already applied for something like it, so a past applicant is the first place you look.

How it works

  1. Describe the role in a sentence, or upload a job description. The JD Builder Agent writes the posting and the screening questions, and you set the criteria that matter.
  2. Share the opening’s link in your job ad, on WhatsApp or by email. Candidates start whenever they are free, and nobody books a slot.
  3. Blue interviews every applicant, typed by default or by Voice or Video. It asks about relevant experience, expected salary, notice period and availability, and follows up when an answer is too vague to use.
  4. You get a ranked shortlist. AI Ranking scores each finished interview against your criteria, with its reasoning and the full transcript. Blue does not reject anyone: you decide who moves forward. See a complete example report.

Built around hiring in Malaysia

  • Phone first, camera optional. A typed interview candidates can finish on the phone they applied from, between shifts or after work; Voice and Video interviews are there for the openings where you want them. No app to install and no account to create.
  • The candidate’s own language. Blue starts in English, and candidates can answer in Malay or Chinese. The transcript keeps each answer as the candidate wrote it.
  • The questions a Malaysian first round turns on. Expected salary, as basic salary and fixed allowance rather than one total, and notice period alongside the earliest realistic start date. The notice period calculator works out what the Employment Act 1955 requires.
  • Malaysian CV details removed. Before Blue reads a CV during the interview, IC and passport numbers, bank and contact details, date of birth, address, race, religion, marital status and age are taken out.
  • Built into the ATS. Interviews sit on the same candidate profile as the CV read, the notes and every message, so nothing is copied between tools.

Who it suits, and who it does not

Teams hiring at volume: retail, food and beverage, hospitality, logistics, contact centres and security services, where one opening can draw hundreds of applicants and most first-round questions are the same every time. What a first round has to establish in each is set out by industry, by role and by hiring situation, such as festive peaks, shift work and graduate intakes.

It suits less well where how someone speaks or looks on camera is the job, or for senior hires where the first conversation is also a pitch. There, a voice or video interview, or a person, is the better first round.

More than an interview

Agentic Blue covers the first round of hiring from job posting to shortlist, not only the interview:

  • Job posting and questions. The JD Builder Agent writes the job posting and the screening questions from a pasted job description or a few lines about the role.
  • Every application, read. Applications arrive from Jobstreet application emails, the job’s own apply page or CVs you upload, and each CV is read against the job’s must-haves, with the CV line behind each one.
  • The first-round interview. Blue interviews every applicant, typed by default or by Voice or Video.
  • The shortlist. AI Ranking puts finished interviews in order against your criteria, and Re-Rank re-orders the list on a new instruction.
  • Your team. Invite colleagues into the same workspace, and send the shortlist to the hiring manager as one link they answer.

Agentic Blue is the applicant tracking system around it, and publishes no integrations with other ATSs; how its screening works is on the candidate screening software page. The whole first round, and how an AI recruiter differs from a recruitment agency, is set out on the AI recruiter page.

What it costs

Agentic Blue is invitation only and priced per seat, agreed with you after your request for access is approved, and the AI Interviewer module is set up with your plan. What a seat includes is on the pricing page, and the screening cost calculator shows what a manual first round costs in recruiter hours.

Candidates, AI and data

Candidates are told before the first question that they are talking to an AI, and have to agree before the interview starts. Candidate records and transcripts are stored in a database hosted in Singapore, and interview text is processed by third-party AI model providers, which may process it outside Malaysia. The full account, including what we do not claim, is on the trust page.

Questions employers ask

Is there an AI interviewer made for Malaysian employers?

Agentic Blue has one, as a module of its applicant tracking system. It asks the first-round questions Malaysian hiring depends on, such as expected salary and notice period, and removes IC numbers, race, religion and similar details from a CV before Blue reads it. Other options are compared in our list of AI interviewer tools in Malaysia.

Can candidates answer in Bahasa Melayu or Chinese?

Yes. Blue starts in English, and candidates can answer in Malay or Chinese. The transcript keeps each answer as the candidate wrote it.

Do candidates need to download an app or create an account?

No. They open a link on their phone, give their name and start. Nothing to install, and no camera unless you set the opening to a Video interview; candidates can always switch to typing.

How do candidates get the interview?

Each opening has a share link. Put it in your job ad, or send it on WhatsApp or by email, and candidates start whenever they are free.

Does Blue reject candidates?

No. Blue scores each interview against the criteria you set and shows its reasoning with the full transcript. You decide who moves forward.
